If you really want to see the Northern Lights, you have to take a tour with Alex. He will do everything to create a unique experience for you. The tour is worth every penny. Very professional!

We stayed at Villa Snowest for one month during the summer, a beautiful, relaxing, peaceful and quiet experience. Plenty of space and the private lake and jetty were perfect! Hosts were extremely accommodating and helpful, a strong recommendation for someone wanting to have the true Finnish experience!

I highly recommend booking a hike or camping trip with Mikko the Finnish Friend!My husband and I went on a day hike to the Baltic Sea Coast and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Finland! Everything was impeccably organized from start to finish. I appreciated him checking in a couple days before our booking, and also giving us an ETA when he was on his way to pick us up. Our diets (one celiac, one vegetarian) were handled conscientiously and the food was also tasty! We had crackers and chocolate as a snack, and cooked cinnamon rolls and karelian pies (served with egg butter) over the fire for lunch. (With firewood he showed us how to chop ourselves!)The hike itself was excellent as well, with many great views and interesting terrain. Mikko often stopped to point out different natural phenomena, offer us his binoculars to observe birds, and search for plants to forage. It felt a bit like a nature walk! At the same time, he was very receptive to what we wanted to get out of the hike, asking how long we wanted to stay out, how much energy we had, and saying we were free to set the pace. We ended up staying out until a little after 10pm, taking in a beautiful sunset over the coast while perched on a rock. We really appreciate all the photos he took of us on the hike, including the sneaky candid ones while we were watching the sunset!Having never been to Finland before, it was perfect for us to plan the tour one of our first days there, as we learned so much about both the local flora and fauna and Finnish culture from Mikko. Being able to recognize many of the things we talked about earlier made the rest of our stay more enjoyable!Finally, it's worth saying that Mikko is a nice guy with a good sense of humor and we just had fun spending the day with him. If we ever make it back to Finland, we will look into booking one of his longer camping trips!

Mukava työpaikka ja kivat safarit. Viihdyin työpaikassani tosi hyvin, työ oli monipuolista ja hauskaa. Työkaverit olivat vertaansa vailla sekä myös toimitusjohtaja oli hyvin asiallinen ja ammattimainen. Luontoretket ja safarit ovat todella ainutlaatuisia ja tapahtuvat kauniissa maisemissa. Hyvät muistot!

Fantastic hike- so incredibly beautiful and magical. Really fun hike too, with areas of sliding down ice on your bottom (fun, not scary) and holding on to ropes, etc. Our guide Dominic was terrific! Highly recommend this activity!
