Tiedekeskus Pilke

Awesome museum for both kids and adults. It has an interactive exhibition about forests, how timber is collected, processed, and recycled. There are games to play, buttons to push, wooden towers to build and some cool pieces of equipment which you may climb on.P.s. it makes sense to buy a joint museum pass for 25 Eur, so you may visit Pilke, Arktikum and Art museum in Rovaniemi with the same ticket. It's valid for a week.

Viihdyttiin täällä monta tuntia, paljon tekemistä lapsille ja aikuisillekin. Lapsi vielä kuukausienkin jälkeen haaveilee, koska pääsisi uudelleen.

Great for kids age 1-10. Only adults need to pay for entrance tickets and there's an option to buy bundle tickets including the other museum.It's a small museum so kids will not get overwhelmed by the activities but will still have lots of fun..

Fun interactive museum! We went as 2 adults (no children) with the culture pass. Otherwise, you can buy tickets ahead, but it's not necessary.There's a coat rack and a free locker area in addition to a lovely gift shop. Our only drawback was a few displays were not operational.An in-depth look at the history, current application, and environmental impact of the logging industry. Contrary to some reviews, we found it a fun experience as an adult and a nice way to pass a few hours (especially if the weather is extra cold/damp). It is small, but you really learn a lot, and digital displays have multiple language options.The center is tons of play displays for smaller children, including trucks, building logs, etc.

Really good museum. All scientific theory about climate change and environment are well explained. Adapt for kids for also for adults too. Well recommended.

5 stars is NOT enough to evaluate this magnificent, absolutely unique and very clever child and adult interactive science and play facility. Your child will not want to go away from it! It's a great shame that this centre is not known as widely as the Santa's village is. In many ways it exceeds the later. Highly, highly recommended!!!
