We booked the floating tour under the northern lights. Alex gave us the most wonderful evening! He was extremely informative about the flora and fauna in the area and made the whole experience very cozy and enjoyable. He explained everything thoroughly and went the extra mile for us. We visited Rovaniemi with other family who weren’t going to participate in the floating, but still wanted to be in a good location to see the lights. Alex was kind enough to let them follow his van and even welcomed them in for some hot drinks. We were lucky enough to see the lights and he even pointed us in the right direction to get better visibility of the lights. Aside from being so kind, Alex explained so much about the lights. Even after he dropped us off, he texted me to say the lights were showing up again and to take a peek. Take a tour with him! I took a tour the night before with another company and they were not as kind or patient as Alex from Nordic Adventures. Highly recommend!

Ich habe die Kätkävaara Nature Trail Wanderung gemacht und kann sie jedem weiter empfehlen.Wir hatten traumhaftes Wetter und der Weg war sehr schön. Es gab tolle Ausblicke und auch Strecken durch den Wald. Die Wanderung war demnach abwechslungsreich und unsere Guides Alex und Tanja haben viel erklärt.

We had a great day with Alex hiking in Auttiköngäs waterfalls. Alex was friendly, accomodating, helped us understand the local culture, and was great with our kids (7 and 5), teaching them about the local nature throughout the walk. It was a highlight of our trip. I highly recommend Nordic Adventures and would happily be a repeat customer next time we are in this beautiful part of the world.

Omg, what an experiance! Loved every single minute of it. The host esp alex 1 and Alex Original and wife was soo cool. fun and easy to talk to with great sense of humour. A lovely cottage dinner and a super experiance first time in a legit finnish sauna aswell as dipping ourselves in their private lake.. what a way to start our trip! Ranua was funnn but some bears were hibernating. Thats natures fault lol. Overall 5 out 5 and outta the park!

We had the Finnish Home & Wood Burned Sauna Tour with Alex and Tanja. It was really a great event! The location is absolutely beautiful and cozy, but it's even more impressive to see how engaged both are in making their guests are great time. Thanks so much and hope to see you one day again!

Highly recommend! Great aurora hunting experience!We are 4 Indonesian students and this is our 2nd attempt after unlucky due to bad weather last year in northern swedenWe had so much fun and amazing night on march 11,2022. Alex is very good, communicative, helpful and friendly Aurora guide! He has huge of aurora knowledge. They provide us high quality camera and took tons pictures of us.Their replies really nice, patient and prompt response.This is the best experience we ever had! Ever! Thanks to Nordic Adventure!!We finally got what we want!!!!! Thank you!!!❤️

Had a northern lights tour with Alex. He was simply the most amazing and patient tour guide. Was at our hotel ahead of time and waiting for us, drove us out of town into a super dark area (but there were already a couple of cars there). Saw a sliver of northern lights and after that everyone left other than us. We were staying in the van keeping warm while he was outside keeping an eye over the sky and called us out again when there was another shower of Lights.The pictures he took and forwarded to us was amazing. Good job to him and highly recommended. 5 Stars!

Siamo stati in coppia a Rovaniemi dal 18 al 20 agosto, dopo aver trascorso 5 giorni ad Helsinki. Abbiamo acquistato il tour- sauna, bagno nel lago, cena lappone e caccia all'Aurora boreale - direttamente sul sito. Alex, la guida, è venuto a prenderci in hotel e ci ha accompagnati in questo cottage a ridosso del lago dove abbiamo potuto vivere una bellissima esperienza con sauna, bagni nel lago Artico ed infine un' ottima cena a base di salmone e verdure! La fortuna ha voluto che quel giorno fossimo solo io ed il mio fidanzato.L' unico rammarico è il non aver potuto osservare l' aurora a causa del cielo nuvoloso e del mese non favorevole. Consiglio vivamente questa esperienza e ringrazio Alex per la gentilezza e disponibilità

This was probably the best experience I’ve had on any tour. I was part of a group of 7 that booked the floating on a lake experience, which was lots of fun.Before we even began, we reached out with the request if a few other people that we were traveling with, could join and have a better shot at seeing the Aurora. Not only did Alex welcome them kindly to the location next to the lake, he offered everyone treats and drinks and he made sure everyone was comfortable.Alex is very enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and really accommodating. We all felt very well looked after and he made this experience exceed any expectations we had.We were lucky and saw some incredible lights in the sky, but even after he drove us back to our hotel and the tour had already ended, he messaged us to let us know that the lights were even better visible at that time. The lights we saw then were even better than anything we’d seen all night. 100% recommend!
