A true culinary gem of Helsinki, Pikku Jaska offers a feast to all senses. The seasonal menu doesn't change, but you can always expect the impeccable quality paired with creativity and attention to details. The flavours are in front and centre of every course: they are powerful, almost overwhelming initially, but then manage to transform and highlight the taste of the dish, leaving a gentle reminder when you finish the course. The six-course tasting menu is, in fact, a ten-course one if you count the beer, the shouting and drunk teenagers. Yes, the cheese was amazing; the burger was prepared better than in many top notch Copenhagen restaurants, and the white cheese served with bacon was enlightening.I highly recommend Pikku Jaska for a great dining experience and a sampler of modern Finnish cuisine.

Not good at all..älkää käykö

I had a charming meal here. We often do tasting menus as we like trying new things and Pikku Jaska didn't disappoint! We arrived early and there was no queue, fortunately, because there was no booking.The location is gorgeous, just right in the very city center of Helsinki!Our chief was simply outstanding and clearly very passionate about what she does!The food was divine with an attentive, friendly and meticulous service.Every plate was so well balanced, and honestly, I would have loved to have the whole menu again if I wasn't completely stuffed!The menu items and the pairings were excellent and generous.Thank you to all the chefs and staff at Pikku Jaska!
