Indonesian taste in Tampere. Lounas-buffet is nice, there’s some options of Indonesian food. Owner and staff so friendly.

I will give an honest review even though my origin is the same country as this restaurant owner and food authenticity. There will be three points I am concerned about, the food, the service, and the environment.I ordered a Nasi Padang Rendang, and it turned out the portion is surprisingly bigger than I expected. The cost is 16 euros. The meat is tender, juicy, and easy to eat. However, the flavor of Rendang somehow mixed with the vegetables. Usually, Rendang will have an authentic look with dark brown color and something like fiber in the meat (it is the effect of Santan). In my personal opinion, if possible the vegetables can be separated from Nasi Rendang with different bowls for example. Overall the flavor is excellent, five stars from me. You should try.The service I received was good. As a non-Finnish speaker, I can use English. Although they can communicate with me using Indonesia. From my observation, they can serve you in three languages: Indonesian, Finnish, and English. Also, I did not need to wait long to get my meal after putting in the order. They have dine-in or takeaway if I am not wrong.The environment: starting from the door is quite hard to open. The restaurant's look is excellent. If you ever go to Indonesia, you will find the authentic ambiance of Indonesian restaurants that hold the traditional look. Make you miss Indonesia.In conclusion, this restaurant is highly recommended, the people there are friendly. There is a buffet version for vegans too. Don't forget to order Karedok or Gado-Gado for vegetarians.

Found authentic Indonesian foods in Tampere. The foods are very well served and they are delicious as we usually eat in Indonesia. Must visit place if you are in Tampere and craving for Indonesian food is.

Hain resq-sovelluksen kautta ruokaa. Oli isot hyvät annokset ja sain vielä ylimääräistäkin. Mukava asiakaspalvelija myös! Varmasti käyn jatkossa muutenkin syömässä:)

I traveled all the way from Helsinki and it was worth it. As an Indonesian living abroad, this restaurant is the closest thing to home and the food is excellent. The owner was so kind to us, I really recommend Bali corner to anyone who’s missing home or interested to try authentic Indonesian food.
