A very cozy restaurant tucked away around the corner. The food is home-cooked and best suited for colder temperatures. Come hungry and that's all that matters.

Very nice Eastern European home food at a cousy environment. I have eaten the entire menu and I love every single one of the dishes; flavours are well balanced and the sizes of of the dishes are generous for the price.Pelmenit is the fairest restaurant in Helsinki.

This is a place I always try to take people to. Very home-food like, but amazing food. The owner and main cook is very polite and remembers you after a couple of times going there. My main recommendation is of course the pelmenit, ilI have no idea how lany times I've ordered that and i love it. The strogannof is quite good as well.The lunch (lounas) is also quite good.

This place was such a pleasant surprise.It's ran like a family restaurant. the kitchen is semi open so you can see what's going on. The service was casual, but very nice.I naturally had to try the Pelmeni, and it was brilliant. It's a simple dish: Dumplings, berries, cream and a sauce. they all come on the place separated, and you combine them all for each bite. you create the balance, more cream, less sauce. super tasty. will go back again next time i'm in Helsinki.
