Päiväkoti Päivänpaisteiden Mummola Oy, Espoo

Our experience with Mummola day care was excellent. We had 2 kids there one starting at 2 years old and the other one starting at 1.5 years old. They both liked the place and enjoyed being there.It is a small place where kids are the priority; they have the opportunity to spend the days doing activities with purpose. They follow Steiner pedagogics, which take into account the kids needs and interests for discovering the world and learn to navigate the day to day activities.The staff is super friendly and the permanent staff doesn't change that often, so the kids always have a trusted and known adult with them. In essence when your kid is there you become a part of one big day care family. The food is prepared at the day care, with always fresh ingredients and they have all sorts of different healthy and yummy dishes.During the year they have different events that take into account the seasonal celebrations (Eastern, X-mas, independence day, Vappu, mother's/father's days, etc.), which they prepare for with songs and arts. Families often can take part in these events and get to know other families as well. As said, you become a part of a big family. Oh and you can't forget that every kids' birthday is celebrated at the day care in proper fashion!Going to the forest, spending time with grannies, the story telling granny, musical activities, soccer and sports (skating, skiing, biking), baking, painting, arts, cleaning day are among other activities that form the normal weeks of the kids.We were very happy about having found such a wonderful place for our kids! Can't really think of a better place for a child to form in their early years (considering that parents still need to work). A high recommendation!

Ihana pieni päiväkoti jossa lasten yksilölliset tarpeet huomioidaan.

Aivan ihana päiväkoti, jossa poikani on ollut jo 4vuotta. Tekevät itse ruuan ja vievät lapsia usein metsäretkille. Suosittelen kaikille!!

Päivänpaisteiden Mummola on mummolan veroinen paikka lapselle. Turvalliset, tutut aikuiset ja pieni ryhmä luovat pohjan onnistuneelle päivälle. Päiväkodissa ulkoillaan paljon, käydään joka viikko metsässä, askarrellaan, kuvataiteillaan ja musisoidaan unohtamatta satuja, loruttelua, näytelmiä ja vapaata leikkiä. Jokaiselle lapselle vauvasta viskariin on tarjolla ikätasoistaan toimintaa pienryhmissä tai koko porukalla. Ympäristökasvatus ja hyvät tavat ovat mukana jokaisessa päivässä. Koska ollaan mummolassa ruoka on erityisen herkullista ja joulua, pääsiäistä, itsenäisyyspäivää ja muita vuoden kohokohtia juhlitaan porukalla!

Meidän kaksi lastamme ovat viihtyneet mainiosti taaperosta viskariksi asti. Loistava yhdistelmä kodinomaista tunnelmaa ja pedagogista osaamista.

Our son has been very happy at this daycare: the teachers are warm and responsive to the individual needs of each child. Since the group is small, it works well for very young children too (our son started at 11 months).There is a different focus every day, including lots of outdoor activities, forest trips, baking, and sports. Our experience has been great and I would totally recommend it!
