Arctic TreeHouse Hotel

We had such a great stay here for two nights. All the staff were very polite and attentive. The scenery was beautiful and the room was a great size and very clean. The restaurant (Rakas) is really great too. We had to checkout at 11am before our 9.45pm flight but there was plenty to do around the hotel and the reception was happy to hold our bags.

Arctic TreeHouse Hotel - Taianomainen elämys pohjoisen luonnon syleilyssä!Viimeisimmällä matkallani pohjoisen ihmeelliseen maailmaan sain tilaisuuden kokea unohtumattoman majoituksen Arctic TreeHouse Hotellissa. Jo saapuminen hotellille oli kuin astuminen satumaiseen metsään, jossa isot mäntypuut loivat taianomaisen tunnelman. Ensimmäinen vaikutelma oli kuin astuisi suoraan Lapin maisemakorttiin!Majoitus itsessään oli aivan upea. Huoneeni oli moderni ja tyylikäs, ja koko huoneen levyisestä ikkunasta avautui henkeäsalpaava näkymä raikkaan metsäiseen maisemaan.TreeHouse-konsepti oli täydellinen tapa nauttia Lapin ainutlaatuisesta luonnosta ja rauhasta. Huone oli viihtyisä ja hyvin varusteltu, ja sängyssä nukuin kuin unelma.Palvelu Arctic TreeHouse Hotellissa oli huippuluokkaa. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä, ammattitaitoista ja aina valmis auttamaan. He todella välittivät vieraidensa hyvinvoinnista ja tekivät kaikkensa, jotta vierailuni olisi ikimuistoinen. Huomasin myös, että hotelli oli hyvin perillä alueen aktiviteeteista ja retkistä, ja he auttoivat mielellään järjestämään matkoja kesäisiin seikkailuihin.Hotellin ravintola tarjosi herkullisia pohjoisen makuja, ja erityisesti paikalliset ainekset olivat ilahduttavaa maistaa. Aamiainen oli todella monipuolinen ja laadukas, ja se antoi hyvän energialatauksen päivän seikkailuihin. Tunnelmallisessa ravintolassa oli ihanaa nauttia illallista lämpimän takkatulen äärellä.Arctic TreeHouse Hotelin sijainti oli täydellinen: tarpeeksi lähellä Rovaniemen kaupunkia, mutta kaukana tarpeeksi, jotta pääset nauttimaan revontulista ilman häiriöitä talviaikaan. Hotellin rauhallisuus ja luonnonläheisyys tekivät siitä täydellisen paikan rentoutua ja päästä irti arjen kiireistä. Hotellin lähistöltä löytyy myös Joulupukin kylä kaikkine aktiviteetteineen.Kaiken kaikkiaan Arctic TreeHouse Hotel oli taianomainen elämys, ja voin vilpittömästi suositella sitä kaikille, jotka haluavat kokea jotain ainutlaatuista ja ikimuistoista Lapin matkallaan. Täällä pohjoisen luonnon syleilyssä saatte paitsi loistavaa majoitusta myös sydämellistä ja huomaavaista palvelua.Kiitos hotellin henkilökunnalle unohtumattomasta vierailusta – palaan varmasti uudestaan!

Amazing experience! We were even given a free upgrade when we checked in and the room was one of the best stays I’ve ever had. Lovely view from the windows and the room was spacious but cozy and very clean. They let you play with their sleds and snowtubes too and we were allowed to use them when we came back from our activities in the afternoon even though we had checked out. Highly recommended

Arctic TreeHouse Hotel was truly a magical experience. The treehouse-style rooms were cozy, modern, and perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay. The floor-to-ceiling windows provided breathtaking views of the winter wonderland outside. The staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, ensuring that all our needs were met. The restaurant served delicious local cuisine and the breakfast buffet had a great variety of options. The location was ideal for viewing the Northern Lights and the hotel provided all the necessary equipment for a memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Rovaniemi, especially during the winter season.

Great hotel. Stayed for a few days and the rooms are great, staff were very friendly and helpful and food is top tier. Location is perfect - out of the main town but still easily accessible and close to the airport without much noise. Totally idyllic.

Every bit as glorious and luxurious as the photos of the “boxes of light” nestled on a hill, overlooking the forest.Service is warm-and-friendly as it is five-star. Front desk team Christina & Buddini —part of the international team here — are fabulous and responsive to whatever request you send via WhatsApp — from helping me to find the perfect nearby hiking trails as Buddini did, to helping me rent a car at the nearby airport as Christina did, calling them up and making sure someone would meet me there. Almir and the restaurant staff at brunch and dinner are brilliant, Esas drove me to Santa Village (an extra treat as they are only supposed to drive you to your rooms), and Abdi and team kept the fireplace stoked as I read by the fire in the evening.Thanks most of all to Mika Stengel, who used to work at the Finnish Parliament so my Helsinki diplomatic hosts recommended that I stay here, and Mika made the stay memorable. He can educate on local history, Finland’s foreign affairs, or explain how the owners designed the eco-minded green architecture and chose the exquisite design items on offer in the gift shop.Mika also treated me to a preview of the hotel’s launch of its “Lapland Luxury” brand experience, acting as my personal concierge to design every portion of my stay, from directing me to the best restaurant open downtown on a Sunday night, to arranging an amazing meal and sauna at Arctos by the lake.He even gave me a fall preview of Santa Park holiday cavern, which is part of the hotel property, now being decorated by busy elves for the holiday season — it’s the six-star version of nearby Santa Village! And it’s actually Rovaniemi’s main bomb shelter, rented from the city. How they’ve transformed it into a cozy ice cavern with Santa’s workshop is amazing.The experience is magic from start to finish!

Beautiful hotel in the perfect spot - out of town but still easily accessible and conveniently close to airport (no noise pollution). Highly recommend doing half board option - the restaurant is seriously top quality. Very friendly and attentive staff. Perfect stay!

The rooms and views are absolutely beautiful. They were all meticulously cleaned and prepared each day. This was one of the most peaceful and cozy hotel stays I have ever stayed at. All the staff I interacted with was so warm and helpful. I truly enjoyed my stay and I hope to be available to visit Lapland and stay again. Additionally I was able to see to get a view of the Aurora lights from the property itself.

This hotel did not meet our expectations at all.1. The amazing view advertised was mostly trees about 2-3 metres from the window so if you visit this hotel, make sure not to get room 15.2. The bathroom had not been properly restocked from the previous guests so there were several empty boxes that had just been arranged nicely3. Extremely overpriced dinner where we needed to send back the salmon burger because it was an over salted pattie and not a piece of fish as we had expected. The normal burger was alright but nowhere near good enough to justify the 20+ € price.4. The breakfast buffet was really nice except for the advertised mashed potato buffet which seemed more like a weird gimmick than anything else. We ended up leaving the breakfast early since the nights entertainment was soundchecking which made it impossible to have a conversation or enjoy the morning5. The cleaning staff came and wanted to start cleaning our room almost an hour before our checkout time which I have never experienced even at the cheapest of hostels, let alone a place that advertise itself as a luxury hotelI could go on but I can rather just tell you to read the other reviews of this place.The staff is very kind and professional but the whole concept of the hotel just doesn't seem to have been completely worked though and they seem to be cutting corners and saving money at every opportunity unfortunately...Will not visit again

The room was nice, a bit too small if you have alot of luggage. The bed was very comfortable, I liked the lights as you could dim them so the eyes wont pain. The bathroom was small as well but overall does the job.We loved the wellness area, its on the 7th floor of the hotel, there are 2 outdoors saunas with beautiful view along with one jacuzzi and one ice water pool. Highly recommend it to try. Also, inside there is a steam sauna and a pool but we spent most of the time outside as the vibe was great!The breakfast is delicious, alot of varieties, loved the porridge. Will visit again!
