Arctos Lapland

This is a must do in Rovaniemi and our favourite experience during our trip to Finland! Raymond is a wonderful host - he makes you feel very welcome and gave us lots of information about the area as well as other suggestions of things to do in Finland. He cooked us reindeer sausages and warm juice over the fire, which were delicious! The wood fired sauna and spa overlooking the lake are just incredible! It is so refreshing to sauna and then cool off in the cold lake. The spa/sauna area also includes an outdoor fire pit, indoor relaxing room with combustion heater, and a toilet. They supply cookies, marshmallows and cinnamon rolls to heat over the fire, as well as soft drinks and water. We even had a chance to catch the Northern Lights over the lake! A truly wonderful and local experience in Finland.

While travelling on a bicycle and taking a short rest in Rovaniemi I visited Arctos Lapland twice just to take a sauna.The location is really beautiful and quiet, and to take a dip in the easy accessible lake during the sauna is amazing.No doubt the other options (with food and hottub) are great as well.Raymond and Paula are attentive and very friendly hosts. Highly recommended!

Incredible experience with Raymond at Arctos Lapland.We booked the sauna and canoe summer experience, and our expectations were more than exceeded. Raymond was a genuine and friendly host, who really went above and beyond to accomodate us and educate us on Finland and saunas.We were given plenty of flexibilty and Raymond encouraged us to take as much time as we needed/wanted to truly be able to switch off and really relax.Their sauna is the most beautiful we saw during our time in Finland, and they have added so many extra touches that really make this stand out.The space he and his partner have created is really stunning, and we left feeling relaxed and very content. Would recommend this 100%

We can honestly say that this was one of the best experiences we’ve had in our scandinavian trip! Raymond was such a gracious host and the place was impeccable. It was our first time doing sauna but Raymond walked us thru the whole process so we could enjoy it properly. Our bodies feel amazing afterwards!Overall, it was such a well thought of experience. From the dinner, to the sauna, to the lake and the hot tub, everything worked out perfectly. Would definitely recommend this place. 10/10

The experience is amazing, the place feels unreal. Everything is so calm and peaceful.Raymond is a great host, he makes feel you comfortable the first second you got out of your car. You should definitely book a spa session herr when you're visiting Rovaniemi.

A more relaxing and romantic place for our honeymoon, we could not imagine. The welcoming and personal attention we received from Raymond and Paula, directly made us feel comfortable.All the ingredients for a complete Arctic spa retreat are present at Arctos Lapland, the eye for detail makes it a very luxurious experience.The authentic Finnish sauna, followed by a dip in the lake and the hottub with a breathtaking view, made an unforgettable impression, and was definitely the highlight of our time in Lapland.

Un endroit merveilleux, plein de beauté, qui invite au calme, à la détente et à la paix du cœur. Raymond nous offre ce lieu comme s'il était à nous et nous avons eu le sentiment d'être comme à la maison. Tout était absolument parfait !
