We booked the 3 hour Snowbobile-Tour to catch the Northern Lights, which has been an incredible experience. We had a lot of fun, the tour was organized very well and the communication with the company very easy. Also, the transportation was well organized. Our tourguide Jordi was a funny and responsible guide, who took more than well care of us and explained us a lot. We also saw the Northern Lights and had enough time to enjoy them.Would recommend the trip and company to 100 percent.

Great day and great value for money! We took a snowmobile, husky and reindeer rides and the experience was amazing! The guides are super competent and fun, huskies very huggable and reindeers beautiful and come with a reindeer driving licence. Snowmobile ride was just sheer fun! Highly recommend!

Overall, great experience.Booked 2 activities -3 hrs night reindeer safari and 2 hrs snowmobile ride.Reindeer Safari: The ride was very nice, with our guide Eva. I loved that it was far from town so the sky was beautiful and you could see the stars. Didn't get a chance to see the northern nights that night, but I would still recommend taking this trip on a clear night for a chance to see the lights.I saw the northern lights the next night, but the street lights definitely take away from the experience.We had a warm berry juice and got to feed the reindeers a little bit.It is much shorter than it sounds, as the 3 hours include preparations (they give you warm cloths) and transportation to and from the farm.Snowmobile:Lots of fun!Had a great guide - Lenny.Got dressed and off to nature.It's 2 per Snowmobile. There is an option to pay extra to be alone of a Snowmobile.It was amazing to ride and see the great nature of lapland.We made 2 stops to take pictures. One of them on a frozen river.That was also a chance to change drivers.The guide was very nice , kept an eye on everyone, and helped take pictures.Here too, the 2 hours include the preparations.Note that you must have a driver's license to drive a Snowmobile. If you don't have one you can be a passenger.

They are not professional and totally disorganize. We have paied more that 300 euros for a 3 hours husky safary tour (2 adults and 1 child). This was supposed to include transfers, 45 min husky ride and hot drinks + snacks afterwards. The ride was max 30 min, no hot drinks/snacks and we have waited for the transfer back 2 hours after the husky ride was over. Not recommended

Apparently, Wild Nordic is one of only two operators in Rovaniemi which offer multi day snow mobile safaris. We booked the “Russian Border Experience” as a private tour. Our guide was Sasha Jordan Morales. Sasha guided us with a good sense of responsibility but also not neglecting the fun factor - a great guy and a wonderful companion on our tour! The gear was excellent (virtually new, powerful snowmobiles, clothing which sheltered well from the weather / temperature, helmets with heated visors etc.). The tour is great to experience the vastness of Lapland. It lasts for four days with three overnight stays - my favorite was the first stop at a farm with only a handful of small cottages, a sauna with a wood fired oven and an ice hole at the lake and the host (Janne?) who was just lovely. All of the accommodations are rather simple, as is the provisioning on tour (mostly at gas stations) but I guess that is what you kind of expect in a wilderness safari through Lapland. A couple of recommendations for first time snowmobilers: (a) the tour does require a minimum level of physical fitness. 600km in four days on a snowmobile should not be underestimated. (b) bring along silicon earplugs or noise canceling earphones which you can wear under a helmet. The snowmobiles are quite loud and after six hours of riding the noise does contribute to the tiredness. (c) if you have to wear glasses you should definitely bring along contact lenses (preferred solution) or skiing googles which you can wear over your glasses (less preferred solution). The helmets with heated visors work perfectly well in almost any weather condition but glasses fog immediately under them and driving with an open visor is absolutely no option. To Wild Nordic I would recommend distributing a packaging list before the trip and maybe the above recommendations.

Our 5 days in Lapland are over and boy did we have a great time. Largely because of our guide Lennert! Definitely an added value to the excursions we did. His explanation, kindness and humor made us book an extra excursion on our day off. Thank you for an unforgettable first introduction to the wonderful Finnish Lapland.

The overall trip was very organised, the instructor had good knowledge of what he is doing. He was able to instruct us very well how to handle the snowmobile. Their office is easily accessible, right opposite to santa claus village. But its stops being touristy and crowded the moment you start you snowmobile ride. Beautiful trails. They also organise snow gears, gloves and shoes. Also make sure you have all the items you need for the trip. Really loved the experience. i would highly recomend.

We did a Thrill of Snowmobiling tour with Sebastian, and had the best time! This is definitely the tour I'd recommend if you want to cover ground and hit high speeds on the flat stretches of river and lake - it's well worth the extra price to travel at your own pace. Sebastian was helpful and knowledgeable about the area and local tracks, and even looped back to find a glove I dropped! I'd book this tour, or an even longer one (half or full day) in a heartbeat. Probably one of my favourite things I did in Finland!

We did the sleigh ride today with Sacha as our guide. We were the only 2 booked on the sleigh driven by Sacha who also guided a couple behind us driving a snowmobile. It was great value for money, picturesque and our guide was very friendly and professional. We also got to pause for photos which Sacha kindly took. Would certainly recommend this activity through the forest even though was a little bumpy!

Awesome experience! The reindeers were so cute and we were allowed to pet and feed them. The people who work at the farm are super friendly and explained everything we wanted to know about the animals. The ride with the reindeers is so romantic and cute.I would definitely recommend booking this experience.
