Holiday Inn Helsinki City Centre

Its a great place to stay at if you are in Helsinki for a short stay. The entrance is right next to the train tracks where airport bound trains stops. Arriving and leaving was a breeze. Area didnt seem shady or insecure at all, two supermarkets are nearby and all the transportation you need to get around the city is just in front of the hotel. Breakfast was super complete and offered great variety including a separate bar for gluten free and dairy free products. Cleaning crew was a little pushy about cleaning times and took an empty water bottle I was using to carry water around (they make money returning it to the recycling system) wich was annoying since I hadn’t thrown it on the trash, it was in my night stand. Other than that staff was amicable, even attentive when we needed extra heat in the room they brought an electric heater for us in no time. Hotel also provided umbrellas at the reception for rainy days. I recomend, its the best bang for your buck.

Truly enjoyed our stay here. Perfect location next to the train station, shopping, and hop on and off bus. Excellent room, great service, and good breakfast made our stay in Helsinki, a great town, even better.

One of the best ever IHG properties that I had ever stayed. Bang next to the Helsinki station and it was a huge respite to just walk in to the hotel after a long journey to Helsinki and then through the airport train. Kind staff and attentive to guests. Impeccable housekeeping and I give them 100 on 10 for keeping the room neat and tidy. Beds are comfortable. Only con is not being able to find any vegetarian options in breakfast except for the boring falafel on every day. Will I go there again, of course yes ! And you too should stay !

Centrally located. Our room was spacious and clean. The bathroom is well kept. Will recommend if ever you stay in Helsinki.

I am pleased with this stay because everything I needed is here. The location is very convenient right at city center and train station, clean , secure,rooms got kettles. Restaurant is nice with buffet style breakfast.Stuff is very friendly and helpful.

It is a very nice hotel with good location in the center city of Helsinki, far from 100m to center railway station.The rooms are terrific beauty, nice view with many kinds and style of rooms suitable for your request.The restaurant and coffee loungue are clean, hygiene and naturally delicious with a great price for a- 4-star- hotel.

I’ve stayed here nearly a dozen times or so when I’m traveling for work, and each one of my stays has been pleasant so far. The hotel being right next to the train, bus, metro, and tram stations is a major plus if you’re planning on using the public transport to get around the city. Additionally, the location is great if you’re planning on sightseeing as its pretty central and is close to the museums, attractions and more.

Guys this hotel is fine but you should totally book a room in Clarion instead! The view here is a solid 3/10 and the rooms are very old and full of rats and also the toilets are full of fish and beds full of cockroach, which in Clarion you would never get.

Right next to Central railway station....very convenient...can come to this place from airport using trains...no need 9f taxis...even if carrying a large suitcase ...breakfast spread is the same daily...rather have breakfast outside but try for a day...
