Lammin biologinen asema
One of the three biological research stations of Helsinki University, here they focus more on freshwater ecology. The facility is not only well-equipped but also set amidst stunning natural surroundings that provide the perfect backdrop for research and observation. The dedicated staff and researchers there make it a nice community for science. Although it’s petty close to Helsinki, getting to and from there is a hassle.

Ihan kauea paikka. En ole koskaan tavannut näin töykeää ja kamalaa henkilökuntaa. Varokaa huoneissa tarjottujen lakanoiden ja pyyhkeiden käyttöä- niistä seuraa lasku.

Amazing biological station with friendly faces everywhere. Lunch is incredible, the interns are well treated and have perfect dormitories. The village Lammi is very tiny but has everything you need: a bar and a gym!
