Booked a photography northern lights tour with my son. Everyone in the group spoke German except me which made me feel isolated and not part of the group as I couldn’t understand what anyone else was saying. Guide would say a couple of things in English every 30min or so out of a 3 hour trip. Took no photos of myself and son or anyone else in the group but took many photos of the lights that night on her camera. Next day received no photos of the tour so waited another day then went back to ask what happened to which I was told “there was no lights” by a Chinese woman on the desk, when In fact the lights were there and also tour was supposed to take photos regardless of lights, I then asked for a refund as I didn’t get what I paid for, I was told I paid €79 ( I paid €89) and that then the guide apparently asked me for photos and I said I don’t want any even though I specifically booked the photography tour??? Very rude staff telling me I am lying just so they don’t have to refund me until I am left in tears 2hrs before my flight home. I asked for contact details to talk to someone because I was not asked to take my photos I was told “I am not the police” I don’t have a right to speak to anyone else about what happened. SCAMMERS offered me €10 back from a tour I didn’t receive what I paid for? After 40min they offered €20 and started to record me in the office on video speaking in Chinese which I didn’t agree to being recorded

Schlimmer als Disneyland

We booked a snowshoeing tour for a family of two adults and three children ages 11, 11 and 4.5.For the younger we were supposed to get a sled. It's also written in their website tour description. We got a simple sled that is not suitable for snowshoeing in deep snow. Pulling it on a regular walking path where you don't need snowshoes is not fun. The kid couldn't hold and sit back in the sled as I pulled it in deep snow. He always turned over. After 10 or 15 minutes the kid asked to walk by himself and the guide took us back to a walking trail where you can walk without snowshoes.The guide was really nice but he didn't introduced himself and didn't explained much about the place or snowshoeing, unless we asked him.We spend almost an hour of the three hours dedicated to the tour to drive to the storage facilities to get the snowshoes and thermal clothes that we didn't really needed, and so on our way back to return the stuff. I think the sled and snowshoes could be brought to the meeting pointed at the first place to save time, but as we already were there, we took one thermal overall for the young one.The guide took us to a national park where we spend abot two hours averall, of which about an hour of sitting by the fire and making sausages. Unfortunately we were not supplied with ketchup so the kids didn't ate much of them.To summarise, it was a nice time spend outdoors to get a brief taste of snowshoeing, the tour was adapted to our family needs, but it could be improved if the gear was prepared ahead (if only they asked if we need thermal ckothes), including ketchup...

We booked the Ranua zoo visit. Our guide was friendly and professional, but he was not a local guide (not Finnish or even Nordic, he was not able to reply basic questions about the surroundings) neither had experience with animals (just from other visits to the zoo), so he added no much value to the trip apart from being our driver. If you have your rental car, I recommend to go there by yourself.

We booked a Aurora photography tour last month. Their front desk staffs are super nice and friendly. There was an Asian girl helped to check the forecast of Aurora and the weather and gave me some useful advice. And the guide is also very kind and professional. In the first hour, there is only weak Aurora. I cannot even see from my eye. But the guide was very sure that is Aurora. After 20 mins waiting, the Aurora became brighter and brighter. It is dancing in the sky! We were so lucky!And the guide shoot many pictures for me and my friend. What a wonderful night!

Very nice office, helpful and responsive staff. Thanks to them we were able to book all the activities we were looking for upon arrival in Rovaniemi!
