The first tech company that requires a subscription in order to use their technical device. A total rip off ... or do you pay a membership that you can use the email app on your iphone?

A sensor fell off of my ring in December so I contacted customer service. About two weeks later I got a response explaining that they are understaffed and they will get back to me. After never hearing back I sent another email and finally heard back telling me to send two pictures of the ring. Never heard back. I keep contacting them by email and they keep telling me to send two pictures of the ring. Absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Don’t buy a ring from this company.

Wonderful ring while 'free trial' is active, then it is WORTHLESS. Oura wants $5.99 a month after the trial, for you to use the ring you bought. Odd, Apple doesn't charge you a monthly fee to use your iPhone or iWatch or iPad. Unfortunately, the ring is absolutely WORTHLESS after the supposed 'free trial', unless you agree to pay $5.99 per month going forward to be able to use it. I paid $400 for a ring that is now totally worthless unless I agree to be robbed again on a monthly basis for $5.99. This was a great concept, however the 'money gouging' has totally turned me off on the product, I cannot recommend this ring for anyone--unless, of course, you have money to burn.

Really thankful that there's such a tracker available. I thoroughly enjoyed the research journey, the actual purchase, and then the wait for delivery. When I actually got my fitness ring, it was exhilarating to finally see it on my fingers, and the sizing kit didn't help with containing the excitement.Although I'd wish for more functionalities like step tracking and transfer to Google Fit, but this is already impressive in itself! The fashion sense helped with the decision too!

This company has become horrible with their customer service! The hardware itself is good, and I bought my 2nd ring. But whatever problem you have, there is just NO response from customer service over months, apart from bot-like empty answers like be patient...". And there are so many bad comments with the same topic. Really sad you treat your customers this way!"

tl;dr - Eigentlich ein gutes, innovatives Produkt. Service unterirdisch schlecht. Ich rate allen Kaufinteressenten die Kommentar deutlichst zu lesen und ernst zu nehmen.Eigentlich ein schönes Projekt, welches ich für wissenschaftliche Projekte mit meinen Studierenden benutzt habe. Problematisch ist jedoch die Haltung und das Angebot jeglichen Services, z. B. Rechnungsstellung & Co. Für zwei Ringe erhielt ich binnen von 8 Monaten keine einzige sinnvolle Rechnung, trotz europäischen Richtlinien und Handeln binnen der EU. Auch erfährt man via Auto-Responder, dass die E-Mail Adresse des Supports nicht mehr beachtet wird, das Formular auf der Webseite funktioniert nicht. Für einen hohen Preis, erhält man hier ein halbgares Produkt mit unterirdisch schlechten Support. Argumentationen hinsichtlich fehlender Mitarbeiter können nicht unser Problem sein, schließlich haben wir auch nicht den halben Preis angeboten bekommen, weil Mitarbeiter fehlen.

Well I do like the ring so I gave it 2 stars. The after service was a disappointment.Aftermath : After a firmware update my gen 3’s battery life decreased from 4-5 days to only 2 days. The ring was only 6 months old and still under the 1 year warranty. So I contacted support to express my concern about the decreased battery life. I got an obviously scripted response saying due to the recent new features being added the battery life seems to have been impacted negatively. They suggested to turn off the blood oxygen feature if you are experiencing this issue and charge the ring more frequently if needed (well that doesn’t make any sense if I was already contacting you lol). You would think that you were paying for the new features when you are paying $6 a month on a subscription to access it right? Then the question now is do I wanna turn it off? :/ And in the back of my head I was wondering what if the battery issue doesn’t get resolved and I am stuck with the 2 day/charge when my ring is still so new? $299 for only a year’s use maybe then?? I just hoped that there was a better resolution other than turning the blood oxygen feature off to make sense of the money I spent you know…

The Ring is great, but I super dislike the scam of $100 more for so called Titanium edition" and it rubbs off after 3 weeks and becomes silver. And support said "damages are not covered" Just buy the cheapest version. This is how you make a good product look bad. Dont be cheap

Total scam, fraud company. You'll regret if you buy any of their product. Without paying money monthly, you cannot even access your own sensor data of your ring. It's like buying a thermometer and you need to pay to read your temperature. Unethical, lying people making over-promised products. They shall go bankrupt.

I purchased several Oura rings. I was always happy with their performance and accuracy. However, I have contacted the customer service several times recently over tracking problems of the main sleep cycle of my fairly new ring since the company up-dated the software to also track resting phases during the day. The ring registered deep sleep cycles while I was on the phone or texting or otherwise provingly cognitive. No one wants to address or look into this issue, all I get is a bombarding of e-mails to upgrade to the next generation ring. Hell no! If they can't even get sleep tracking accurate during the day and night, how reliable will the added features be?
