Liian ahdas muuten hyvä

We were staying in Palovaara but headed to Ylläs to have a ride on the gondola and use the spa before having fondue for supper at Kota. It's cheap, only €14 for each adult for as long as you like which is less expensive than the Spa in Harrogate we head to normally when we've had a busy spell (we're Independent Midwives so we appreciate down time when the opportunity arises!) Take a towel as they don't supply them and you'll need your swimming costume too. It wasn't too busy which was great and all the staff were lovely. There's a smallish pool but with space to swim or chill with powerful water jets, a couple of jacuzzis, dry and steam saunas and the option of booking a treatment if you like. You either need to get dressed, take a robe or frighten the guests by heading through the lobby in your towel (my option) for your treatment which is a pain. I had a massage which was great but stupidly we entirely undid all the benefit by spending the next day out on snowmobiles. Well worth going.
