A true architectural marvel, this cathedral is quite unique and has some reallu nice spots to take pictures from, including an observation deck infront with good view of large part of the city. It was crowded on a friday morning, so be prepared.

It’s a beautiful cathedral which was constructed with recycle bricks due to budget restrains.Although it’s modest size, the cathedral is fitted very elegantly with beautiful paintings and decorations.Be mindful not to use your camera flash inside as there are many valuable artwork.Give yourself a minimum of 30 minutes to enjoy this spectacular building.

Uspenski CathedralThe cathedral is set upon a hillside on the Katajanokka peninsula overlooking the city. It is next to the Helsinki Skywheel. The Golden Onions can be seen from far distances. Loved the old matador (van) and the young artist who sells his paintings, sketches.

I decided not to see the interior of the church, but I can tell you, that it looks really breathtaking from the outside. It's only a five-minute walk from the port, so it's really easily accessible. You can also go by car, but you have to pay for the parking.

Finland is well-known for many varieties of Christian religions, such as Orthodox, Lutheran, and so on. Because of that, you can find many iconic churches and cathedrals. This cathedral is the iconic one, that you can visit in Helsinki. The exterior is great, you can see many places since this is higher than the other places. But, this place is not friendly with someone who uses a wheelchair.

It is an old cathedral located up the hill. Many tourists visit this place. There was a ceremony going on, and many tourists flocked inside, though a notification was only for church services. Inside look similar to other cathedral but this seems to be not catholic. Very quite and calm place as usual in many religious places. Would be better if it has in scripts about the history of the church.

Located on a short climb up the hill, this is a very interesting place to admire the Eastern Orthodox Church architecture from outside and inside. It was quite the experience to experience the grand exterior and interior of the cathedral.No information boards if you're coming here alone, and the church interior is not all that big, but still okay to visit on your own.Recommend the experience as entrance into the cathedral is free, unlike other more famous churches in Helsinki.

Helsinki 2nd famous cathedral. Architecture is influenced by Russian design and it is beautiful made with bricks. It is on small hill so when at above you get good view of near by places. Inside architecture is also good. Can't get enough of bricks color and preservation of the cathedral.There are few steps to climb before you see the main entrance. There are other ways to come.Very near to market and some food joints.It is crowded on most of the days.
